Here I will post some basic tweaks for better game play try these and feel the difference.
FPS & FOV
1./r_drawdecals 0 - lot of random garbage in u r screen? this will do the trick (default value is 1)
2./fx_marks 0 - no more bullet wholes (default value is 1)
3./cg_fov 80 - this will changes your field of view (default value is 65)
4./r_multigpu 1 - little fps gain
5./cg_blood 0 - turn off the blood (default value is 1)
6./cg_brass 0 - turn off the bullet shells
7./r_texfiltermipmode "force bilinear" - more fps
8./r_drawsun 0 - turn off the sun light (with new promodlive2 this thing always on I think)
9./r_drawwater 0 - turn off water and gain more fps
10./com_maxfps 125 - force to 125fps
11./cg_drawfps 1 - it will show current fps values in u r screen
12./cg_drawfpslabels 0 - it will turn off use less fps labels from screen
:idea: before do anything you have to
1.enable console from your cod4 settings, go to main menu>Options>Game Options and enable console.
2.make a back up of your current config_mp file, it's default in here C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\yourname.
3.all tweaks doing here will save in this config_mp file so if anything goes wrong just replace the config_mp file with your backup(original) one.
